Want to go horseback riding, but really RIDE? This is a backcountry, get-dirty, off-the-tourist-trail horseback adventure about an hour outside of Antigua.
We ride straight into rough volcanic terrain, through farmland, and down tight trails locals actually use. No tour buses, no crowds. Just real villages, kids waving as you pass, and raw, untamed landscape the way it’s meant to be seen.
Experienced rider? Good. This is not your average, slow, ‘follow-the-leader’ boring trail ride. There are open stretches where you can pick up speed and kick up some dirt.
We stop along the way for a cold beer at a roadside tienda, have a ‘salud’ with the locals. We refuel at a traditional comedor with a simple, authentic meal.
No polished ranches, no fancy tack. This is an authentic Guatemalan horseback experience. Just horses, dirt, volcano views… and a ride you’ll actually remember.
Ride with purpose! 25% of tour profits support Hope in Her Hands initiatives that create jobs and resources for families in Guatemala.
